There are more than 48,000 children living in out of home care – this number has doubled in 10 years. This is the lowest educational pool of children in Australia.

75% of kids in care will not finish school
35% of these kids will enter the juvenile justice system
50% of the homeless come from a care background

All donations go to our Love of Learning Program, so we can screen, train, recruit and match a volunteer Pyjama Angels with a child in care. You donation will help The Pyjama Foundation continue our life-changing work with children in out of home care.

Your donation goes a long way.

A donation of $50 will go towards training kits and activities to improve our training sessions with new volunteer mentors.

Your donation directly benefits children in foster care.

A donation of $100 will go towards essential learning resources including books, educational games and stationery to a child living in care.

Your donation can go towards giving a foster child his or her own very special Pyjama Angel.

$500 will contribute to a child's own special mentor who will help them with their reading, writing and learning. Pyjama Angel mentors will be recruited, screened, trained and then matched with a child in care.
